The Payment Village is bigger and better! This year we have a crammed schedule of industry experts presenting on a range of topics (checkout the Workshops page or hacker tracker for the full schedule). We have an entire infrastructure setup for hacking cards! Come and experience a virtual Point of Sales (Pos) terminal. Or have a go at hacking a real life PoS. We have our own cards that work with our environment to allow you to experience real card hacking. 

Want to try your hand at something physical? Try grabbing as much money as you can in our cash vault! Purchase and assemble the village badge or learn how to construct hardware in a workshop. Don't have a card reader? no problem! we have equipment for loan.

Why are we organizing a Payment Village?

Payment technologies are an integral part of our lives, yet few of us know much about them. Have you ever wanted to learn how payments work? Do you want to know how criminals bypass security mechanisms on Point of Sales terminals, ATM’s and digital wallets? Come to the Payment Village and learn how. We will teach you how hackers gain access to banking endpoints, bypass fraud detection mechanisms, and ultimately, grab the money!

Who is this for?

Whilst hacking isn't child's (cat's) play, we believe that everyone can learn a little bit more about payments. For that reason we are making the Payment Village accessible to all.
